You have the right to request deletion of your data associated with AdIntel and its connection to your Meta account. This page explains exactly what data exists, where it lives, and how to delete it — completely and permanently.

Go to facebook.com/settings and sign in to your Facebook account

Navigate to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Security & Login → Apps and Websites

Find AdIntel App in the list of connected apps

Click Remove — this instantly revokes all permissions and API access. Done.
What Data Does AdIntel Hold?
Understanding what exists — and where — is the first step. Here's a complete inventory of all data types associated with AdIntel.

Meta Access Token
Not stored by IGS
Your token exists only in your browser's memory during your active session. It is never transmitted to or logged by IGS servers. It is automatically cleared when you close the tab or browser.

Search Keywords & Filters
Not stored by IGS
Keywords, country selections, and filter settings exist only in your browser session. They are not transmitted to or retained by IGS. Cleared automatically when the session ends.

Ad Library Data
Not stored by IGS
Ad copy and metadata fetched from Meta's API is public data displayed in your browser only. Not stored on IGS servers. Cleared when you close the tool.

Exported Reports
Stored on your device only
Any JSON or Markdown files you export are saved locally to your device. IGS has no access to or copy of exported files. Delete them from your device's file system.

Support Correspondence
Retained up to 12 months
If you have emailed [email protected], that correspondence is retained for up to 12 months. Submit a deletion request below to have it removed early.

Analytics Data
Anonymized aggregate only
If aggregate analytics are collected, they are anonymized and not linked to you individually. No personally identifiable analytics data is stored. Individual deletion is not applicable.

Revoke Meta App Access

Go to Facebook → Settings & Privacy → Settings
In the left sidebar, click Security and Login, then scroll to Apps and Websites
Follow this exact path:
Facebook Settings → Security & Login → Apps and Websites → AdIntel App → Remove
In the removal dialog, check the box to "Also delete all posts, videos and events posted to Facebook by AdIntel App" if shown, then confirm removal.
Removal is immediate. All API permissions are revoked. Any existing access tokens issued to AdIntel App become invalid instantly.
⚡ This is the most complete deletion path. Because IGS does not store your personal data server-side, revoking the app from Facebook removes all meaningful data associated with your Meta account.

Revoke Token via Graph API Explorer

Select your app from the Meta App dropdown
Click the X icon next to your current access token to invalidate it immediately
Alternatively, call the Graph API endpoint: DELETE /{user-id}/permissions to revoke all permissions granted to the app

What Happens After You Request Deletion
Here's exactly what takes place after a deletion request is submitted or app access is revoked.

All API permissions revoked
AdIntel App loses access to your Meta account instantly. All active access tokens are invalidated. No further API calls can be made on your behalf.

Confirmation of receipt
We will email you to confirm we received your deletion request and provide a reference number for your records.

Identity verification (if applicable)
We may request verification of your identity to protect against fraudulent deletion requests before processing. This is typically a simple email confirmation.

Deletion complete + confirmation sent
All applicable records are deleted from IGS systems. You receive written confirmation that deletion is complete, including what was deleted and the date of deletion.
✓ What We Confirm in Writing
Upon completing a deletion request, IGS will provide written confirmation that includes: the date deletion was completed, what data categories were deleted, confirmation that no copies are retained by IGS (with the exception of anonymized aggregate analytics which cannot be individually attributed), and a reference number for your records.

If IGS is legally required to retain certain records (e.g., for tax, fraud prevention, or litigation hold purposes), we will inform you of the specific legal basis and the retention period, and will delete the records as soon as that obligation expires.
